What will you do as an SEO optimizer?
- Perform website internal optimization – optimize meta tags, titles, URLs; improve the sitemaps and perform internal linking; monitor and analyze SEO promotion results using special services (Google Analytics, Google Search Console); form a semantic core; solve technical optimization issues (mobile adaptation, page loading speed, etc.).
- Work with content: write terms of reference for copywriters and programmers, analyze and optimize existing website content, research and make changes to the current content strategy, make and send comments and advice to other specialists.
- Analyze competitors: study the SEO strategy of competitors and suggest ways to get ahead of them, look for new points of growth in conversion and sales, and analyze the competitiveness of search queries in the thematic niche.
- Perform external optimization: implement a promotion strategy, develop anchor lists, implement article marketing, work with link exchanges, and improve the website’s weight by building high-quality external links.
- Prepare regular reports: clients should receive timely information on the most important metrics (number of visits, position dynamics, traffic sources, and other analytics and monitoring data).
Requirements you must meet
- Know the basics of digital marketing and search engine optimization trends, be willing to follow trends, and implement them with the team.
- Know how Google ranking algorithms work and understand the principles of modern search engine functioning.
- Know how to use web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, layout, programming, design, and copywriting in the context of SEO.
- Know how to administer and fill websites with content, considering current SEO requirements.
- Know how to work with various SEO services and tools for building link mass and social weight.
