Meta Platforms Introduce Paid Subscription with Advanced AI Features

На сервисах Meta появилась платная подписка с расширенными функциями ИИ

On September 15, 2026, Meta expanded its Meta One paid subscription system across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI. The update grants users access to artificial intelligence features, content creation tools, and professional capabilities for creators and businesses.

Advanced AI features in Meta products

The paid subscription unlocks extra features and higher usage limits for resource-intensive AI tools. At launch, Meta One included 50+ features, with plans to expand that number over time.

What Is Included with a Meta One Subscription?

In early 2026, Meta launched separate Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus subscriptions. These introduced personalization features and extra functionality within each respective app.

Now, the company has expanded the system with two bundled plans: Core and Premium. They combine the features of all three standalone subscriptions mentioned above with increased access to AI tools. Meanwhile, core app features and everyday access to Meta AI remain free.

Plans for Individuals

For $7.99 per month, individual users can purchase the basic Core bundle, which includes combined Plus features across all apps, along with:

  • the ability to generate more videos and images using Meta AI;
  • Story style customizations;
  • additional voice effects and other creative tools.

The Meta One Premium plan is also available for those who plan to generate more AI content and are willing to pay $19.99 per month.

Plans for Business Clients

Content creators and companies managing large audiences can choose from four tiers:

  • Essential — starting at $14.99 per month. This plan includes advanced profile management tools, expanded Meta Business Agent capabilities in WhatsApp, a verified badge, and impersonation protection following successful verification.
  • Advanced — starting at $49.99 per month. In addition to Essential features, users get professional publishing and analytics tools: scheduling Stories up to 30 days in advance, adding links to organic posts and Reels, exporting analytics, and accessing deeper audience insights.
  • Expert starting at $149 per month and Max starting at $499 per month provide higher tiers of feature access and scale Meta Business Agent capabilities for teams.

What Does This Mean for Marketing?

The launch of Meta One signals that Meta is continuing to develop paid tools not only for regular users, but for businesses as well. Content creation, audience engagement, analytics, and AI tools are gradually converging within a single ecosystem.

Of particular interest to marketers are the Meta Business Agent features, automated follow prompts for users interacting with content, advanced analytics, and post-scheduling tools.

At the same time, Meta One is no substitute for a comprehensive marketing strategy: while the subscription broadens access to tools, real results still hinge on content strategy, ad campaigns, community management, and overarching business objectives.

A marketing agency can help build end-to-end social media promotion—from developing a content strategy to fine-tuning ad campaigns and analyzing performance.
